Our Story

A Problem Rooted From Unawareness

Did you know 90% of children lack the street smarts to handle a crisis? Or that up to 60% of teens meet up with people they met on TikTok and Instagram? Even worse, 90% of child perpetrators are actually someone the child already trusted. Stranger safety isn't just about "stranger danger"—it's about real-world awareness.

Yet, it's an issue most families still overlook.

Our Goals and Purpose

My goal as the founder of Iron Kids United is to walk into a more safe and sound world without having to contain a fear of the unknown. Oftentimes kids can feel overwhelmed when being taught safety that they feel forced to be cautious. But when they are taught in a more nurturing and uplifting manner, they feel that it is their duty to be more attentive when going into the real world. We use 3 steps to do this: Awareness, Advocacy, and Action.

How are we making this dream a reality

We empower kids through interactive stranger awareness sessions, combining direct instruction with real-world scenarios so they can practice what they learn. To extend our impact, we host the Iron Kids United Podcast, where industry experts share actionable insights on building safer, more responsible communities.

Meet The Founder

Hi, my name is Shreelakshmi and I'm a sophomore at Washington High School. At a young age, I had the privilege of being exposed to martial arts at Ernie Reyes' West Coast World Martial Arts a.K.a WCWMA. WCWMA helped me develop my core values like Bravery, Loyalty, Family, and etc. State Management (which is one of the values taught at WCWMA) is to give in to society without expecting anything in return. Later on in my Martial Arts Journey, I became an instructor, which made me more passionate about boosting the future generations towards evolving in the real world. At Iron Kids United, we strive to empower our younger generation kids to have more awareness and bravery towards encountering the real world.
